New Delhi: IIT Madras is now inviting interested undergraduate candidates to apply for its Python for Data Science program for January 2022 session on the official NPTEL, SWAYAM platform at https://onlinecourses.nptel.ac.in/.
Interested candidates who wish to apply for the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras four-week-long online program on python for data science can now submit their applications for the same on the NPTEl website till January 31, 2021.
As per the schedule, the course will be taught by the IIT Madras faculty member, Prof. Ragunathan Rengasamy from January 24, 2022, to February 18, 2022. The classes for the same will be held through online means, on the official portal of SWAYAM.

IIT Madras Online Course 2022: Admission Process, Direct Registration Link
Students who are now in the final year of their undergraduate program and wish to gain knowledge of basic data science algorithms from top faculty members can now enrol on the free online program of IIT Madras by following the step by step guide given below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of NPTEL at onlinecourses.nptel.ac.in.
Step 2: From the homepage, click on IIT Madras Python for Data Science Course 2022 link available.
Step 3: On the next page, read the course highlights with care and click on the “sign-in/register” tab available on the top right section.
Step 4: Enter your details to register for the SWAYAM platform and enrol in the course by entering the details as required.
Step 4: After successfully entering the details, cross-check the information entered with care and click on submit to complete your IIT Madras Free Online Program 2022 registration process.
Students who have enrollment in the online IIT Madras Program 2022 will have the option to get their certificates by appearing for the course examination. The exam for certificates will be held on March 27, 2022, in both morning and afternoon sessions for a duration of 3 hours.
In order to obtain the course certificate, students must score a minimum of 30 marks out of 75 in the written examination and 10 marks out of 25 for the assignment submission process. Those who meet the criteria will be awarded certificates with logos of NPTEL and IIT Madras.
