New Delhi: IIT Kharagpur's Centre of Computer Science & Engineering has started the online registration process for its Junior Research Fellowship 2022. Graduates or Postgraduate degree holders who meet the eligibility criteria can now apply for the fellowship at iitkgp.ac.in.
The junior research fellowship program of IIT Kharagpur is open for all candidates who are in need of financial assistance. The research fellowship scheme will offer selected candidates a new opportunity to pursue their education without worrying about the expense.
Candidates who meet the criteria are now requested to submit their applications through online mode on the university website till February 08, 2022. Applications submitted after the given deadline will not be considered by the authorities.
Under the IIT Kharagpur Scholarship 2022 program, i.e, Junior Research Fellowship 2022, students will receive a scholarship amount of up to Rs 31,000 per month to pursue their education. The scheme is open for students who are below the age criteria of 28 years.

To apply for the IIT Kharagpur Centre of Computer Science & Engineering Junior Research Fellowship 2022, candidates are required to meet the below criteria:
- The age of the candidate must be below 28 years of age.
- The candidate should have a B.E./B.Tech degree or equivalent with GATE/NET score.
- OR M.Tech degree in CS/IT or related disciplines.
- Age is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped / Visually impaired and female applicants.
