IIT Kanpur to Organise GATE 2023 from Feb 4, Check Registration Process Details Here

New Delhi: IIT Kanpur will organise the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 from February 4, 2022. The online registration process for interested candidates is expected to start from the first week of September 2022 on the official website at gate.iitkgp.ac.in.

As per IIT Kanpur, the notification for GATE 2023 will be released on the institute's website in August 2022. The exam will be held on February 4, 5, 11, and February 12, 2022, for all registered candidates in various exam centers across the country.

Informing about the GATE 2023 Schedule , IIT Kanpur Director officially tweeted ,"The examination will be held on 4th, 5th, 11th, and 12th of February 2023. GATE 2023: How to Register Online?

Candidates who wish to register for GATE 2023 are required to submit their online registration form along with a copy of mentioned documents and payment of the registration fee on official website at gate.iitkgp.ac.in on or before the mentioned date.

After the release of GATE 2023 notification, interested and eligible candidates can register for the aptitude test by following the step-by-step guide mentioned below: 

Step 1: Visit the official website of GATE 2023 at gate.iitkgp.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the “GATE 2023 Online Registration” link available on the homepage.

Step 3: Register yourself by entering your name, email address, and other details as required. 

Step 4: Fill out the registration form with care and upload a copy of mentioned documents. 

Step 5: Review your application form and click on submit to complete your GATE 2023 Registration process. 

About GATE 2023

IIT Kanpur will organize the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE 2023 for admission to MTech programs in top IITs , NITs, and other participating colleges. Based on marks secured in the qualifying entrance test, the applicants will be shortlisted for the admission process. 

As per the GATE 2023 Exam Pattern , the exam will be held for a duration of 3 hours in computer-based test mode. The test will have a total weightage of 100 marks, out of which 15% of weightage will be given to questions from General Aptitude and 85% to core subject topics.

The GATE 2023 notification and registration schedule are expected to be released in the last week of July or first week of August 2022. Candidates who are preparing to register for GATE 2023 are advised to keep a tab on the official website: gate.iitk.ac.in for the latest updates.
