New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur is inviting applications for admission to MTech & PhD programs for January 2023 semester. Interested candidates can now apply online till November 11, 2022.
As per IIT Kanpur, the MTech program is offered by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, MS is offered in cybersecurity & computer science & engineering, and PhD in various engineering and science programmes. For registration, interested students can head to the official portal at iitk.ac.in
To apply for IIT Kanpur Admissions 2023, interested candidates in MTech programs must have a BTech/ BS degree or an MSc in the relevant scientific field with a minimum specified score and for PhD programs, candidates must have a BTech degree with at least 75% score or an MSc degree with a minimum of 65% score with JRF with 95 percentile or higher in GATE/ CAT/ GMAT/ NET or any other national level examination.
A valid GATE score is required for admission to the MTech programme in the case of non-sponsored candidates. The requirement of a GATE score is waived off for the candidates with a B Tech/BS degree from IITs with a minimum overall CPI of 6.5 and a minimum CPI of 8.0 in the last two years in B Tech/BS
