New Delhi: IIT Jodhpur is preparing to host its "Friends of IIT Jodhpur" Conclave on February 11 and 12, 2023. The conclave's goal is to identify partnerships with CSR officials, PAN-IIT graduates, businesses, foundations, and well-wishers to jointly solve issues related to regional and national development.
The IIT Jodhpur Conclave 2023 will feature keynote addresses, thought-provoking panel discussions and displays of numerous influential projects from IIT Jodhpur. The innovation environment of the institute as well as the numerous opportunities it offers will be highlighted to the participants.
In addition to this, the colloquium will include a campus tour and open house event to view various developments at IIT Jodhpur. Eminent figures from CSR, PAN-IIT alumni and other corporates and industries will take part in the panel discussions.
Professor Santanu Chaudhury, Director of IIT Jodhpur said, “The Friends of IIT Jodhpur Conclave aims to engage more stakeholders and make the institute an open space for collaborations and contribution by key participants such as government bodies, industry, research community, Pan-IIT alumni, and philanthropists".
Adding to the statement, he shared, "The conclave will enable discussions and continued engagement in encouraging invention-to-innovations initiatives and providing solutions to the current and future needs of our society".
The key topics of panel discussion sessions are "How philanthropists, industry and HNIs can engage with IIT Jodhpur for impactful contribution" and "How pan-IIT Alumni can contribute to the growth of new IITs".
A foundation-laying ceremony for the Rishabh Centre for Research and Innovation in Clean Energy will also take place during the conference. Mr Narendra Goliya, Chairman and MD of Rishabh Instruments Limited, will preside over the ceremony and will take part in the foundation-laying ceremony.
