New Delhi: IIT Jodhpur PG Admission 2022 deadline has been extended. Candidates can now apply for M.Tech till May 5, whereas for M.Tech-PhD and M.Sc in Digital Humanities till May 8, 2022. Application forms are available on the official portal at iitj.ac.in.

IIT Jodhpur offers M.Tech and M.Tech- PhD Dual Degree in various specialisations that include Bioscience, Bioengineering, Engineering, Electric Engineering, Mathematics, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil & Infrastructure Engineering, Robotics & Mobility System. 

IIT Jodhpurs PG courses namely, M.Tech. and M.Tech.-Ph.D. Dual Degree are designed to provide students with the most up-to-date technology, including hands-on experience, as well as a solid basis for multi-disciplinary creativity. These programmes will accept full-time regular applicants with or without assistantships, self-sponsored candidates, and working professionals as part-time/external/full-time sponsored candidates.

Additionally, M.Sc in Digital Humanities is designed to address developments and implications of digital technologies on historical and contemporary culture and society. The course will be offered by the Interdisciplinary Research Platform (IDRP) from July 2022 semester.

The eligibility criteria for M.Tech and M.Tech- PhD Dual Degree programmes are similar that are listed below:

• Aspiring candidates must have a bachelor's degree in engineering or science (4-year program) or a master’s degree in science, MCA, Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Sciences or in a related field from any recognized university.
• A minimum of 60% for GEN/OBC (55% for SC/ST/PD) or a minimum CGPA of 6.0 on a scale of 10 for GEN/OBC (5.5 for SC/ST/PD).
• Candidates with a CGPA/CPI of greater than 8 from the CFTI may be given preference.
• Full-time Regular applicants are eligible for Assistantship/Fellowship if they have a valid GATE score or have been exempted from GATE as per MHRD circular, or if they have passed an equivalent National Examination and/or passed the written exam and/or interview. or,Part-time/ Part-time (online)/ External/ Employer-sponsored applicant must have a minimum of two years of work experience. The applicant must pass the written test and/or interview.
• For M.Sc Digital Humanities, candidates must have graduaton degree in humanities, social sciences or basic sciences with atleast 60% or 6.0 CGPA.

The selection process to get admission at IIT Jodhpur for M.Tech and M.Tech- PhD Dual Degree is given below:

• Firstly the applicants are shortlisted on the basis of the qualifying degree and their performance in GATE 2022 exam.
• Shortlisted candidates also might need to appear for the personal interview/written test rounds.

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for the M.Tech. and M.Tech- PhD Dual Degree at the institute:

• Visit the official application portal of IIT Jodhpur, at https://iitj.ac.in/.
• While applying online, candidates must pay a processing fee of INR 300 for general and OBC applicants and INR 150 for SC, ST, and PD applicants.

• Candidates should contact the Office of Academics (office_academics_pg@iitj.ac.in) if they have any issues with the online application.
• All qualified applicants, interested to apply under the Full-time Regular category are eligible for Assistantship/Fellowship, should register first in COAP.
• Applicants will get the "COAP Registration No." after registering at COAP 2022, which is required to apply online at IIT Jodhpur.
• The "COAP Registration No." is further required for making decisions against admission offers during the time windows to be announced on the COAP 2022 portal. 
• Candidates who do not have a GATE score, such as B.Tech. from CFTIs, part-time, sponsored, and external candidates, will be notified directly by IIT Jodhpur.
