New Delhi: IIT Indore has begun the application process for M.Tech and MS (Research) for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, iiti.ac.in. 

IIT Indore offers M.Tech and MS (Research) in various specialisations and admission to the M.Tech courses is done through COAP. Candidates seeking admission to both of these programmes can submit their applications till April 25, 2022. 

IIT Indore M.Tech & MS Admission 2022: Highlights 

IIT Indore M.Tech and MS (Research) courses are offered by different departments of the institute. There are a total of 9 specialisations offered under the M.Tech program, whereas there's 5 specialisations under the MS (Research) program. 

Each specialisation of the M.Tech and MS (Research) Program have different eligibility criteria. As a result, candidates interested in pursuing either M.Tech or MS from IIT Indore can download the admission brochure to check the eligibility criteria before applying.

IIT Indore M.Tech & MS Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking IIT Indore admission 2022 into the M.Tech or MS (Research) programs will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria which are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech:

• Candidates interested in the IIT Indore M.Tech admission 2022 will have to fill out a separate application form for COAP, https://coap.iitb.ac.in/ apart from the regular registration. 
• COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal), is a common platform from which the candidates are able to select the best admission offer among all that they have applied to.

• Candidates must have a valid GATE score to be considered for admission to M.Tech programme. 
• Candidates who have obtained at least 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA (55% or 5.5 CGPA for SC/ST) in B.E/B.Tech or its equivalent degree from recognized university/ institution.

Eligibility Criteria for MS (Research): 

• Candidates must hold a four-year bachelor’s degree or five-year integrated degree with first division (as defined by the awarding Institute /university for Indian applicants and equivalent for international applicants) in relevant streams. 
• Candidates must have a valid GATE score.

IIT Indore M.Tech & MS Admission 2022: Selection Process

M.Tech:

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on GATE Score. They should meet all of the required eligibility criteria for admissions.
• Candidates who are IIT graduates with CPI equal to or more than 8.0 will be exempted from GATE qualification.
• Candidates will be offered admission to the M.Tech program on the basis of the category and their name in the merit list
• The candidates will then have to get their documents verified. After submission of the original GATE score card and payment of the fee, the admission offer will be made on the spot. 
• Candidate's Selection to the MTech (Communication & Signal Processing and VLSI Design and Nanoelectronics) program would be based on performance during personal interview of the shortlisted candidates.

MS (Research):

Candidate's selection for M.S. (Research) programs would be based on the personal interview of the shortlisted applicant. 

IIT Indore M.Tech & MS Admission 2022: How to Apply?

• Visit the official application portal of IIT Indore, iiti.ac.in
• Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.
• Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.
• Pay the application fee of INR 800 and submit the Application form. 
• Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
