New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Hyderabad's Technology Innovation Hub on Autonomous Navigation and Data Acquisition Systems (TiHAN) is currently accepting applications for its academic fellowship programme. The deadline for applications is January 25, 2023.
At IIT Hyderabad Areas of Research Includes Autonomous Vehicles(AV), Intelligent Transportation Systems, Security aspects of AV, Simulators for AV, Testing and Validation of Autonomous Navigation Systems, ADAS Systems, Communication & Connected Network environments, Entrepreneur & Management and Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning,
The programme is open to professors of Centrally Funded Technical Institutes and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) who have excelled in their research via publications in prestigious journals and conferences as well as technology creation and patents.
According to the institute's official website, it seeks professors who are eager to collaborate closely with TiHAN's research and development (R&D) teams and take leadership positions in their fields of study.
IIT Hyderabad Eligibility Criteria and Additional Requirements
While submitting an application for the TiHAN faculty fellowship programme, individuals must confirm that they meet the requirements listed below.
- The maximum age is 45 years old. The final application deadline is the cutoff for the age restriction.
- NOC from the parent company.
- Financial assistance:
Two-year fellowship at INR 25,000 per month.
A regular progress review will be conducted.
Performance alone will determine if a fellow is awarded in future years. - A grant for research and contingencies of 5,000,000.
