New Delhi: IIT Hyderabad has recently launched a three-year long Master of Science (MSc) Program in Medical Physics for the academic session of 2022-23. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the admission process at cip.iith.ac.in till August 12, 2022.
As per IIT Hyderabad, the MSc in Medical Physics is AERB (Atomic Energy Regulatory Board) approved program, which will offer training to interested students. It is launched in collaboration with Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute (BIACH&RI).
Under this collaboration, the IIT Hyderabad MSc Course 2022 will introduce interested participants to the field of Medical Physics with the help of medical physicist specialist training. The training will include concepts and techniques for applying physics in medicine.

The MSc in Medical Physics course will also have a mandatory 12-month clinical internship program along with a clinical orientation for radiation physics, clinical immersion and shadowing industry/ clinical lectures, and various short-term projects throughout the course.
Informing about the IIT Hyderabad Course 2022, Prof B S Murty, Director, IIT-H, said, “MSc (Medical Physics) will be offered in line with NEP. It provides a strong academic background to the students and a clinical internship to students to make them industry-ready.”
Interested candidates who have completed their qualifying degree can now apply for MSc in Medical Physics course under IIT Hyderabad Admission 2022 by submitting their online application form on the official website of the institute at cip.iith.ac.in latest by August 12, 2022.
After the application process, the university will conduct an online interview round for registered candidates as a part of the screening process. The final selection will be based on the overall performance of applicants in the qualifying degree and interview round.
