IIT Hyderabad Introduces a Certificate Course in Introductory Sanskrit for INR 1000: Check Details Here


New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad has introduced the Prathama-Diksha introductory Sanskrit certificate course under the direction of Central Sanskrit University (CSU). 

As per IIT Hyderabad, the Prathama-Diksha introductory Sanskrit certificate course will be conducted in offline mode. Interested Candidates must submit their information via a Google form accessible at forms.gle/EZvquTY1VtdY7Rwh6.

This offline certificate course is open to everyone, including students, faculty, staff, family members of faculty/staff, and persons who are not affiliated with the university in any way. Candidates interested in Dwitiya-Diksha should know that this certificate programme is a prerequisite (a diploma course).

This program has no requirements; participants are not even expected to know Devanagari reading/writing, and the course schedule will be determined in consultation with the students. The complete course charge is Rs 1,000, which includes the cost of study materials, including textbooks and workbooks.

This certificate course at IITH will emphasize a graduated learning approach, allowing students to determine their own pace and enrollment. According to the institute's calendar, the course is slated to begin in October, and courses will be held on the IITH campus in the participants' comfort.
