IIT Guwahati Launches GIAN Course 2022 on Blast and Shock Resistant Bio-inspired Functional Materials Design Methodologies


New Delhi: IIT Guwahati's Department of Mechanical Engineering and Centre of Educational Technology has launched a GIAN Course on Blast and Shock Resistant Bio-inspired Functional Materials Design Methodologies. 

IIT Guwahati's GIAN Course 2022 has been launched for graduate as well as advanced undergraduate students, post-doctoral research associates, government researchers who wish to learn about multi-physics fundamentals of bio-inspired material systems.

As per the schedule, the IIT Guwahati Course 2022 will start from January 10, 2022, in virtual mode for all interested and registered candidates. The course is scheduled to commence for a 09-day duration, till January 19, 2022. 

The speakers who will join the virtual program include Prof. Niranjan Sahoo (NS) and Prof. Prasenjit Khanikar (PK) from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Guwahati Faculty

Registration Fee

The registration charges to apply for IIT Guwahati GIAN Course 2022 is Rs. 500/- (non-refundable) for all students. The fee is nonrefundable and has to be paid through online means.

As for the course fee, the charges are Rs. 200.00 (only for students) and Rs. 1,500.00 + 18% GST for faculty members. Participants from Industry and Research Organizations are required to pay a course fee of about Rs. 3,000.00 + 18% GST. 

International students can apply for the course by paying the course fee of US $100. As for SAARC country participants, the course fee for them will be the same as the course fee for Indian participants.

Recently, the institute has also inaugurated its School of Business, Department for offering MBA courses. The first batch will start their classes in July 2022. The admission for the IIT Guwahati MBA Program 2022 will commence in line with admission criteria adopted by other IITs for their MBA program.

IIT-G Admission 2022 window for engineering courses is also expected to open soon. Admission to the institute’s UG Engineering courses is based on the marks obtained in JEE Advanced entrance examination.
