New Delhi: IIT Gandhinagar Research Park’s incubated startup, Havi, a Consumer Electronics and Robotics Company with its Headquarters at Bhavnagar, Gujarat was chosen for Stanford Seed Research Program.
Sharing his thoughts on this news, Prashant Mamtora, Founder and CEO of Havi said, “Our entire team and I are extremely delighted with this achievement. For us, it is the variation of our purpose - to inspire to learn, create and perform, to everyone, at all ages. This program will help us in connecting with and learning from one of the most mature ecosystems of the world.”
Havi has its research centre at IIT Gandhinagar and is involved in the design and development of robotic toys. It also produces fun and sustainable technology for the public that will enable them to learn about robotics, IoT, electronics, and other STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) projects.
The company also created a free code learning platform known as the Havi Code that will help beginners to learn coding and programming in an easy manner.

A statement issued in this regard stated, ‘Only about 90 start-ups from across the globe get an opportunity to be part of this programme by Stanford Graduate School of Business (Stanford GSB) every year, and Havi is one of the few companies selected from India and the only company shortlisted from Gujarat.’
