IIT Gandhinagar B.Tech Admission 2022 Open for Olympiad Training Camps Students

New Delhi: IIT Gandhinagar invites applications for B.Tech programmes for the academic year 2022 - 23 for students selected for Olympiad training camps. The application window is now open and interested candidates can apply till May 31, 2022. 

Applicant must be in class XI or Class XII or must have passed class XII in 2021 along with selection in Mathematics/ Chemistry & Physics/ Informatics training camps for applying in the programme.

IIT Gandhinagar B.Tech programme for students selected for Olympiad Training Camps is a 5-week foundation programme in humanities and social sciences, design and innovation, life sciences. The program emphasises active and project-based learning.

IIT Gandhinagar B.Tech Admission 2022 for Olympiad Training Camps Students: Eligibility Criteria

Below are the mandatory requirements a student need to have in order to get admission at IIT Gandhinagar for the course-

• Candidate who have completed class XI or XII 
• Selection to one of the below training camps:

1. Mathematics: Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) organises International Mathematical Olympiad Training Camps (IMOTC)
2. Chemistry and Physics: Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) organises Orientation-cum-Selection Camps (OCSCs) for Science disciplines (Chemistry, Physics) 
3. Informatics: The Indian Association for Research in Computing Science (IARCS) hosts the International Olympiad for Informatics Training Camp (IOITC) 

• The JOSAA-specified eligibility criteria for passing the class XII (or equivalent) exam for admission to IITs is also considerable.

Before applying one should check the below mentioned important instructions-

• It is compulsory to fill all the fields in the application form.
• The mandatory documents required to submit along with the application form include Resume/CV, passport size photo, documents confirming selection to the training camp and performance in the International Olympiad, adhar card, class X and Class XI or XII mark sheet, and birth certificate.
