IIT-PAL Website by IIT Delhi: Highlights
This website along with the lectures is an initiative by the IIT professors and subject experts. The free video lectures are specifically for the class 11 and 12 students and primarily aims to help them understand the science subjects better.
This website is also an attempt to boost the confidence of the self-studying students preparing for the competitive exams. These videos can be accessed on the Doordarshan DTH Channel 22.
“This website will be helpful to students especially from regions where they may not have access to specialist teachers in science subjects and coaching opportunities”, as stated by Professor Joby Joseph, IIT Delhi. He is also the National Coordinator of the IIT-PAL website.
The initiative aims to provide support through video lectures and interaction with IIT Professors for the competitive exams such as NEET, JEE, IAT and so on. The lectures will be prepared on the basis of the NCERT syllabus. The subjects included are Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics
Moreover, students who have registered to the website can also clear their doubts by submitting their questions on the website either in Hindi or English language and also by requesting a live session
“A team of professors/experts at IIT-PAL will coordinate to find answers to these questions. Answers to selected questions will be posted on the website, which can be viewed by all registered students,” as the official statement said.
