IIST Admission 2022 Open; Last Date to Apply is May 26

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) has begun the application process for the undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @iist.ac.in, by May 26, 2022. 
 

IIST offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various specialisations. Candidates seeking admission to the programme can submit their applications till May 26, 2022. 

The admission procedure at IIST will be regulated based on various national level entrance exams like JEE Advanced and GATE. Through this admission procedure, IIST will shortlist the candidates for admission in the seats of various UG and PG courses.

Candidate's seeking admission to the UG and PG courses offered at the institute will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria which are mentioned below. 

IIST UG & PG Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have passed 10+2 intermediate or its equivalent examination from any recognized board.
• Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) as mandatory subjects in qualifying examination and have onobtained at least 75% (65%for SC/ ST category) of aggregate.
•  Candidates must have valid score in JEE Advanced 2022.

IIST UG & PG Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Candidate's age limit must not exceeding the 32 years. There will be age relaxation for reserved category candidates.
• Candidates must B.Tech/ B.E. / M.Sc. degree holder from any recognized institution.
• Candidates must have scored minimum of 60% (55% for reserved category candidates) marks in their qualifying examination.
• Candidates must have valid score of GATE, UGC NET/ JEST exam.

IIST UG & PG Admission 2022: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of IIST @iist.ac.in. 

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 600 and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
