New Delhi: The inaugural batch of the Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management programme at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong recently came to an end. There were 137 students who initially enrolled in this programme, and 131 of them have since graduated.
Now, on January 6 and 7, 2023 a total of 65 participants visited the IIM Shillong campus for an immersion session.
The one-year programme was created to aid participants in honing their specialised human resource management competencies. It gave the pupils knowledge of HRM. Students had a greater understanding of the need of planning and implementing human resource management strategies in order to improve employee welfare and organisational success. Additionally, as an added bonus, each candidate who entered this programme received a complimentary one-year membership to SHRM.
"I was wanting to expand my knowledge, and IIM Shillong seemed to be the best place to do so at. Additionally, IIMS co-conducting three courses with SHRM and offering advanced and customised courses specifically for executives from various organisations is a benefit for students, according to one of the alumni, HK Chetan.
