IIM Shillong Collaborates with Clark University for Student Exchange Programs


New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Clark University, United States to advance student exchange programmes. This collaboration aims to initiate sharing of academic research, faculty, and professional personnel between the two institutions.

As per IIM Shillong, the MoU was signed on the campus ground of IIM Shillong by Dr Alan Eisner, Dean and Professor of the School of Management at Clark University, and Jayantanuj Das, Graduate Admissions Counselor at Clark University.

Talking about the collaboration, DP Goyal commented that this would provide IIM Shillong students with access to chances for worldwide research and study as well as foreign employment placements. It will improve the institution's reputation in the global market, raise the calibre of IIM-Shillong students, and draw overseas recruiters. 

In addition to this, the collaboration aims to give participants the knowledge they need to adopt an outcome-based learning approach, which will educate them on how to launch, manage, and expand their businesses in the real world.

The staff and students at IIM-Shillong will have more opportunities for travelling to, and working and studying in globally-reputed management institutes thanks to this MoU, the officials further added.
