New Delhi: IIM Rohtak welcomed its new batch of students to its PGP program on Saturday, July 9, 2022. The new batch was introduced by various renowned personalities who accompanied Professor Dheeraj Sharma, the director of IIM Rohtak, and provided them with life advice and assistance.
The 3-day workshop at IIM Rohtak was attended by 351 students. There were discussions regarding 'Development and Progress in the VUCA World' on day 2. Another distinguished panel of speakers took the stage on this day.
The batch is from a variety of backgrounds, including Commerce, Economics, Humanities, Management, Engineering, and Applied Science. Approximately 210 of the total students were female. The majority of the students are between the ages of 21 and 25, and a handful has relevant professional experience.
Recently, IIM Rohtak Placement 2022 has been completed with a 100% record. the average package in the placement process increased by 16% this year.
With the completion of this recruiting procedure, the institute becomes the first IIM to complete placements for the 2022 batch. The maximum domestic CTC provided during the placement was INR 30 LPA, with the average salary rising to INR 15.92 LPA.
73% of the students were hired for General Management and Consulting positions. The batch also saw a significant increase in the amount of PPOs and PPIs available to students. Deloitte, Capgemini, Indus Valley Partners, Tata Steel, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, OfBusiness, Yes Bank, Cognizant, AuthBridge, Xiaomi, and Natwest were among the prominent firms who participated in the placement session.
