New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management, Rohtak (IIM-R) has successfully concluded its placement season for its 2-year post-graduate programme, where it recorded an increase in average salary of 16%. 

During the IIM Rohtak placements, the average salary for the PGP class was INR 18.73 lakh, representing a 16.7% increase over the average salary from the previous year, which was just INR 16.06 lakh.

According to the official IIM Rohtak statement, the top 10% of the PGP batch received an average salary of INR 34.68 lakh, and the top 25% and 50% received offers of salaries with averages of Rs 27.15 lakh and Rs 22.64 lakh, respectively. 

The number of PPOs and PPIs offered to students at IIM Rohtak placements also saw a sharp surge, rising by 65% from the previous year.

The institute states that it has formed new partnerships with more than 45 new employers this year, including GAIL, AB InBev, Axis Bank, Barclays, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Samsung, and Wells Fargo. Reliable hiring companies, including Accenture, Aditya Birla, Tata Steel, Amazon, Bain Capability Network, and others.

The IIM Rohtak statement revealed that the PGP Class of 2023 comprises 237 talented students, with 158 female and 79 male students having an average work experience of 19 months. The academic diversity of the batch is skewed maximum toward commerce and Engineering.
