IIM Lucknow Launches Executive Course in Data Science, Apply Now

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow, has joined hands with Eruditus to launch an Executive Programme in Data Science. The last date to apply is March 22, 2022.

The new executive programme of IIM Lucknow will train and prepare students in practical business decision-making with statistics, data science tools, and techniques using Excel and R. 

IIM Lucknow Executive Course in Data Science: Highlights 

The duration of the executive programme is nine months, which will commence on March 30, 2022. Candidates holding a graduate degree (10+2+3) or diploma degree (10+2+3) or (10+2+4) with a minimum of 5 years to a maximum of 20 years of work experience as of March 30, 2022, are eligible to enrol for the programme.

IIM Lucknow Executive Course in Data Science: Overview

According to the official IIM Lucknow statement, the executive programme consists of live online sessions and a three-day on-campus immersion at the institute campus. The institute has specifically designed the executive programme in data science to upskill the early-stage professionals, business and budding data analysts, senior management professionals and entrepreneurs and businesses. 

Upon successful completion of the executive course on Data Science, all the participants will receive a certificate from IIM Lucknow. In addition, they will also become eligible for the status of IIM Lucknow executive education alumni.

The primary aim of the executive course is to develop the participants with a managerial understanding of tools and techniques employed in data science and machine learning and to train them to take data-driven and real-time organisational decisions.

The executive course in data science will also equip the learners with the statistics concepts to make efficient business decisions through a better understanding of data structure and data analysis.

Speaking about the launch of the course, Gaurav Garg, Associate Professor, IIM Lucknow, said that Data Science has evolved as a significant career choice in recent times with many fresh graduates and experienced professionals switching to data-related roles.

Further, the executive programme of IIM Lucknow has been specifically designed for executives intending to upskill in the domain of data science. The curriculum will assist the learners to acquaint themselves with the concepts of data analysis and the advanced tools and techniques to implement in different business scenarios, Garg added.
