Indian Institute of Management, (IIM) Kozhikode has recorded the highest ever enrolment for admission to its Executive MBA or Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP) in Management for the 2021-22 academic session.
This year, a total of 529 candidates have been enrolled for admissions in the Executive MBA programme at IIM Kozhikode. While a total of 501 students were admitted for the same programme in the previous year, it refers to its increasing popularity every year.
IIM Kozhikode has notified that the current batch of the EPGP consists of 60% of the candidates from diverse backgrounds. The students have been reported to be in the age group between 30 and 39 years and the maximum number of admissions have work experience in the IT Sector.
The male-female ratio for the IIM-K EPGP Batch 2021-22 is as follows,
- 80.72% male candidates i.e. 427 male students
- 19.28% female candidates i.e. 102 female students
Earlier this year, EPGP registration for IIM Kozhikode Admission 2021 was held from May 4 - August 16, 2021. EMAT is scheduled in two phases, the first phase was conducted from November 6-7, 2021.
Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT) is conducted by IIM Kozhikode for admission to Executive Post-Graduate Program (EPGP) in Management at its Kochi campus. EMAT is a national-level exam that admits 100 meritorious students each year.
Following all the first phase admissions, students attended the first-in-campus sessions from December 13-18, 2021. In view of COVID-19 pandemic, the induction ceremony of the EPGP batch was held virtually.

Given the pandemic situation, IIMK’s EPGP course is currently delivered through technology platform Times Professional Learning (A division of Bennett, Coleman & Co. LTD). Students are allowed to attend classes from one of the 68 centres across 44 cities in India.
