IIM Calcutta hosts 11th India Finance Conference with with IIM-A & IIM-B


New Delhi: The 11th India Finance Conference was held at the campus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta from December 19 to December 21.

The Event was organised by IIM Calcutta under a joint venture with two other top management schools in India, IIM-Ahmedabad and IIM-Bangalore.The conference's topics were centered on the banking and financial industries. Shrikrishna Kulkarni, Chairperson of the Board of Governors at IIM Calcutta, officially opened the event. Dinesh Kumar Khara, Chairman of the State Bank of India, gave the welcome speech.

The audience was interested in topics including financial inclusion and the difficulties facing the banking industry after scholars from the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia presented their papers.

Over 150 delegates from various Indian academic institutions, non-governmental organisations, and banks attended the conference, which included more than four plenary sessions and 36 technical sessions.

In addition to this, the event featured plenary speeches from eminent professors and academicians from the National University of Singapore, MIT's Sloan School of Management, and the University of California, Berkeley, among others.
