New Delhi: The icy Bihar winter has arrived, leaving many less fortunate individuals exposed to the fury of the cold. In order to assist them in surviving the bitter cold, Pragati, the CSR Committee of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya, conducted a clothing donation campaign.

The group started the initiative by gathering clothing from IIM Bodh Gaya's faculty, employees, and students. The children' enthusiasm for helping the less fortunate was very touching.
The clothing was sifted and divided for distribution after receiving a sizable contribution of more than 280 items of clothing.
The CSR committee members then went to the campus's surrounding neighbourhoods and construction site to give the clothing to the local families. The employees' appreciation for the committee was visible on their faces and in their actions. The committee members were humbled by this experience, which they will never forget.
As a result of their cooperation with the committee and provision of employees, vehicles, and other necessities, the administration and CPWD staff significantly contributed to the success of this initiative.
The contribution drive was in line with the Institute's mission to develop mindful, socially conscious leaders who will help comfort and ease the suffering of the less fortunate.
The IIM Bodh Gaya's Student Affairs Committee Chair, Professor Sreelekha, coordinated the activities with Pragati, the CSR Committee, and she offered assistance as needed. The chairman of Pragati, Professor Amit Srivastava, further stated that the committee intended to make this event an annual affair and looked forward to holding further events of a similar nature.
