IIM Bodh Gaya Director Vinita S.Sahay Re-elects as Director

New Delhi:The board of governors of Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bodh Gaya have re-elected Professor Vinita Singh Sahay(the current director), to lead B-school in the second term.

According to IIM Bodh Gaya tweet, the Board of Governors of IIM Bodh Gaya has chosen Prof. Vinita Singh Sahay as Director for a second term. Everyone in the institute congratulated the director.

Prof. Vinita Singh Sahay has been appointed as the Director by the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya for a second term.

In February 2018, Professor Vinita Singh Sahay took charge as the founder director of IIM Bodh Gaya. She's a researcher,educator and an academic administrator. She's the second woman in the entire country to get appointed by the government of India to lead an IIM. She has 26 years of varied and rich experience in research, academic, and consulting fields both in India and abroad.

While expressing her gratitude to the ministry of education, the government of India and the government of Bihar for their invaluable support since the inception of the institution, Sahay said that the support of the astute board, comprising members of eminence, has been a constant source of strength, encouragement,and inspiration. This support has led the institute to distinguish itself as a distinct place for itself, with several firsts to its credit.

Vinita S. Sahay, Director of IIM Bodh Gaya holds a Doctorate (Customer Value) M.A. (Economics). She's a First Class First (Gold Medalist) CSJM University, Kanpur; PGDBA (Marketing), First Class CSJM University, Kanpur. She also won the "Gold Medal" and the Business School Affair & Dewang Mehta B-School Award for 2011's best marketing management instructor.
