IIM Bangalore to Organise its 48th Convocation Ceremony

New Delhi: As per the latest updates, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore is preparing to organise its 48th convocation ceremony on March 31, 2023. The event will be held from 5:30 PM on the campus ground and will include announcements of gold medals.

Informing about the event, IIM Bangalore shared that the convocation ceremony will be held in the presence of Padma Bhushan recipient Baba Kalyani, Chairman & Managing Director of Bharat Forge Ltd, who will join the event as a Chief Guest to deliver the Convocation address.

The official website reads, "during the ceremony, Dr Devi Prasad Shetty, Chairperson, Board of Governors, IIMB, will share his message. Professor Rishikesha T Krishnan, Director, IIMB, will highlight some of the achievements and accomplishments of the institute".

Degrees will be awarded to students of PhD, Post Graduate Program in Enterprise Management (PGPEM), Executive Post Graduate Program in Management (EPGP), Post Graduate Program in Business Analytics (PGP-BA) and Post Graduate Program in Management (PGP).

In addition to this, students will be awarded gold medals for Best All-Round Performance as well as for ranks achieved (First Rank and Second Rank). The achievements will be announced and handed over by Chief Guest, Baba Kalyani, Chairman & Managing Director of Bharat Forge Ltd.

Earlier, IIM Bangalore hosted "Yamini 2023", its flagship classical music and dance concert in offline mode for a duration of two days, from January 25 and January 26, 2023. The event was held at the Open Air Theatre (OAT) on campus grounds for all interested students.

One of the key highlights of the concert was the performance by Pt. Rajendra Gangani (kathak), Vid. Neyveli Santhanagopalan (Carnatic vocals), Vid. Vikku Vinayakram (ghatam), Smt. Saskia Rao De Haas (cello), Vid. Mysore A Chandan Kumar (flute) and Pt. Sanjeev Abhyankar (Hindustani vocals) among other artists.
