IIM Bangalore to Host XVIII International Conference on Public Policy

New Delhi: As per the latest updates, the Centre for Public Policy of IIM Bangalore has announced that it will host the XVIII International Conference on Public Policy & Management at the institute campus from August 22 to August 24, 2023.

As per IIM Bangalore, the conference on Public Policy and Management is for academicians, students, research scholars, policy regulators, auditing and rating agencies, lawyers, NGO professionals and anyone with an interest to know more about public policy.

Those who are interested in participating in the conference can submit their submission of the special track proposal by May 15, 2023. The last date for complete paper submission is May 31, 2023. After which, IIM Bangalore will announce the result for acceptance on June 30, 2023.

This interdisciplinary IIM Bangalore’s International Conference will include various activities such as academic sessions, topical policy debates, workshops, panel discussions and practitioner-oriented discussions on various aspects of public policy and management.

The conference’s main goal is to bring together scholars representing a diversity of perspectives on public policy issues. It provides them with a platform to showcase their latest developments in policy research and practice and discuss their ideas with like-minded people.

Some of the themes which will be discussed during the conference are Urban Planning, Built Spaces and Architecture in honor of Dr Balkrishna Doshi, the Chief Architect of IIM Bangalore; the Role of Technology in Governance; and Health Systems (Including Practice and Policy Innovations).

Additionally, It will include themes like Managing Safe and Inclusive Workplaces and Gender and Caste Diversity, the Role of Internal Committees on Diversity and Inclusion and Posh Data And Personal Privacy In an Invasive World; Policy Approaches to Water Management (Drinking Water, Water for Irrigation and Water for Industrial Use among others.
