New Delhi: IIM Bangalore has successfully completed its final and summer placements 2022 for the batch of Post Graduate Programme (PGP) and Post Graduate Programme-Business Analytics (PGP-BA) and EPGP 2021-23.
IIM Bangalore witnessed an impeccable placement season with a tremendous increase in high-paying offers across various sectors during the final and summer placements 2022.
IIM Bangalore Summer Placements 2022: PGP & PGPBA Batch
IIM Bangalore witnessed a large batch of 515 students participating in the summer placements 2022, where a total of almost 542 offers were rolled out to 513 students by the marquee companies from across all sectors and domains. Only 2 students from the batch decided to opt out of the summer placements.
The management institute included both Final and Summer Placements for the PGP and PGPBA class of 2021-23. This year, the Business Analytics sector contributed for 4%, while the Marketing Consulting sector emerged as the top sector with 36%.
Accenture with 27 offers emerged as the top recruiting domain during the summer placement drive followed by Boston Consulting Group and Bain & Company making 22 offers. AWS Consulting with 16 offers and Goldman Sachs with 15% were among the top recruiters.
IIM Bangalore Final Placements 2022: PGP & PGPBA Batch
The final placements 2022 for the PGP and PGPBA batch witnessed huge success with a total of 524 students participating and receiving 662 offers from 137 top-notch companies. 6 students also received international offers, while 11 students opted out of the IIM Bangalore Placements 2022.
Over 273 PPOs were made, of which 181 PPOs were accepted by the students. The prominent recruiters made a total of 209 final placement offers, of which 205 offers were accepted by the students.
Some of the top-recruiters who offered the Pre-Placements Offers were Bain & Company,
Amazon, The Boston Consulting Group, Accenture Strategy, McKinsey & Company, Kearney, and Microsoft among others.
Some of the premiere recruiters during the IIM-B Final Placements 2022 were Accenture Strategy, which made 49 offers followed by Amazon, The Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company, McKinsey & Company, Ernst & Young amongst others.
The final placements 2021-23 recorded the median salary being offered to the PGP and PGPBA batch at INR 31.20 Lakhs, while the average salary stood at INR 33.82 Lakhs.

IIM Bangalore Placements 2022: EPGP Batch
With a total of 75 students in the EPGP batch, 71 of the students accepted the offers at the campus placement, while one student opted out and the other opted out to start their own venture. The institute recorded the median salary for the EPGP batch at INR 30 lakhs and the average salary INR 30.90 Lakhs.
IIM Bangalore students of EPGP class 2022 were recruited broadly in Consulting, IT, E-commerce, BFSI, Fashion/Retail, Healthcare, ITES areas. Consulting has emerged as the largest industry by making 34 offers.
Accenture, Flipkart, PWC, Incedo, Samsung, LTI, Bain & Company, Manyavar, McKinsey, and OLA Electric are some of the top recruiters for EPGP placements 2022.
