New Delhi: IIM Amritsar inaugurated the second batch of its EMBA program on June 04, 2022. The batch includes 50 working professionals from BFSI, IT, Consulting, Digital Marketing, Retailing, and Power sectors with experience ranging from 3 to 20 years.
The inauguration event of IIM Amritsar was held in the presence of Shri (Dr) Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra, Director (HR), IOCL, Gautam Kapoor, MD, Black Jack India Private Ltd, and Professor Nagarajan Ramamoorthy, Director of IIM Amritsar.
Additionally, Professor Mahima Gupta, Dean Academics, Professor Mukesh Kumar, Chairperson EMBA, IIM Amristar Faculty, and staff members were also present during the event. The event was held on the campus ground for all participants.
The IIM Amritsar EMBA Program 2022 is offered to all participants in a nonresidential hybrid mode. The program is an opportunity for working professionals and executives to complete their postgraduate degree in one of the leading IIMs in India.
IIM Amritsar Executive MBA Program 2022: Key Highlights
As per the institute, the two-year-long IIM Amritsar EMBA Program 2022 offers a cutting-edge curriculum specially designed for industry professionals. The program offers participants regular interactions with business leaders and accomplished alumni.
Referring to the program, the participants informed that the main advantage of pursuing the EMBA Course at IIM Amritsar is the availability of education facilities and class recordings to discuss and review the important points of the program later.
Commenting on the work experience of participants, Dr. Ranjan Kumar Mohapatra, Director (HR) IOCL stated that learning is a lifelong experience. With this program, IIM Amritsar aims “to Enable Society to Sustain Effectively by Developing Leaders with Wisdom and Integrity”.
Shri Gautam Kapoor, MD, Black Jack India Pvt. Ltd advised students not to take this program as just a degree and should ask themselves why they are pursuing the degree. He further encouraged students to follow values such as persistence, perseverance, and patience.
IIM Amritsar launched the first batch of its Executive MBA Program in 2021. The executive program was inaugurated on June 05, 2021, through a virtual session for 40 working professionals with experience ranging from 3 to 20 years.
The inauguration of the first batch was done in the presence of Suresh Kumar, chief principal Secretary to the Punjab Chief Minister, Sanjay Gupta, Chairman, Board of Governors, IIM Amritsar, and Nagarajan Ramamoorthy, Director of IIM Amritsar.
