New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM Ahmedabad) conducted its initial cluster of the Final Placement process for the PGP class on February 14, 2023, wherein 50 companies participated.
A total of five cohorts of companies participated in the IIM Ahmedabad placement Cluster 1: investment banking & markets, management consulting, specialised consulting, cards and financial advisory, as well as private equity, venture capital, and asset management.

According to the IIMA statement, the entire IIM Ahmedabad placement process was conducted in a hybrid manner. The companies had the convenience to undertake the placement process either physically or virtually.
The statement revealed that a large pool of recruiters, with approximately 50 organisations got engaged in the placement process. With 18 offers, McKinsey & Company became the top recruiter, followed by Boston Consulting Group.
Regular recruiters like Bain & Company, Kearney, Oliver Wyman, Strategy & Middle East, Monitor Deloitte, Praxis Global Alliance, Arthur D Little, PwC, and KPMG were also notable firms from the consulting industry.
Similarly, Goldman Sachs, Avendus Capital, Arpwood Capital, Standard Chartered, HSBC, O3 Capital, and Credit Suisse became the prominent recruiters in the Investment Banking and Markets sector.
In the PE and VC domain, A91 Partners, Premji Invest, Pinpoint, Morgan Stanley (Real Estate), and American Express participated, who rolled out the largest offers in the cards and financial advisory cohort.
Meanwhile, the cluster 2 and 3 of IIM Ahmedabad Placements 2023 are scheduled to be held on February 17 and 20, 2023 respectively.
