New Delhi: IIM Ahmedabad has received its highest number of offers (47), including pre-placement offers (PPO) from the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in phase 1 of the placement process.
Along with BCG, Accenture Strategy remained the largest recruiter with 32 offers across two roles. IIM Ahmedabad usually follows a cluster system of final placement process through which multiple companies from various sectors get invitations at regular intervals.
The first cluster of the final placement process for the PGP course students of 2022 consisted of four cohorts: Investment Banking and Markets, Management Consulting, Advisory Consulting and Private Equity, Venture Capital and Asset Management.

Some of the other eminent recruiters from the IIM Ahmedabad placement drive are American Express, Arthur D Little, Bernstein, Citibank, EY Parthenon, Bain, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, McKinsey, Premji Invest, PwC, Standard Chartered, Oliver Wyman and so on.
As per the initial placement news, Management consulting firms continued to hire in larger numbers this year at IIM Ahmedabad.
Moreover, finance firms offered roles in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital and markets across functions including Pre-Placement Offers. Goldman Sachs made the highest number of offers with 7 offers including the PPOs, closely followed by the American Express with 5 offers.
The second cluster of the placement process will be conducted on February 11, 2022. Since the institute is following the Indian Placement Reporting Standards (IPRS), IIM Ahmedabad is most likely to release a much detailed audited report later.
