IIM Ahmedabad Concludes Summer Placements Cluster 2 & 3, Check Placement Details Here

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has successfully concluded the cluster 2 and of the summer placements, with over 50 top-notch recruiters participating in Cluster 2 and 35 firms in Cluster 3.

The second cluster of the Summer Placement process for the PGP class of 2024 at IIM Ahmedabad witnessed the participation of firms across seven cohorts – Advertising & Media, Consumer Electronics, Consumer Goods & durables, Consumer Services, Conglomerates, Retail B2B & B2C and pharma & health care.

A total of 50 companies have participated in the cluster 2 process, with Adani group being the top recruiter overall with 16 offers.

Some of the regular recruiters including ABG, Adani, Bajaj, CK Birla, JSW Group, Piramal, Reliance, and TAS participated in the Conglomerate cohort.

Premier recruiters like AB InBev, Asian Paints, Coca-Cola, Dabur, HUL, ITC, Kimberly Clark, Mondelez, Nestle, P&G, Reckitt, and Wipro Consumer Care were among those in the cohort of consumer goods and durables. With 9 offers, HUL was the top recruiter in the Consumer Goods & Durables cohort.

Recruiters like Amazon and Flipkart participated in the retail B2B and B2C cohorts. The company with the most offers in this cohort of 13 was Amazon.

Disney and other recruiters showed strong interest in the Media and Advertising cohort. Top Companies like Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Optum Global Solutions, and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., among others, participated in the Pharma & Health Care cohort. With ten offers each, Optum and Sun Pharma were the top recruiters in the Pharma & healthcare cohort.

IIM Ahmedabad Summer Placements Cluster 3

The summer placement procedure for cluster 3 was concluded, with 35 firms participating and 28 offers being received, for the PGP class of 2024. Tata Consultancy Services emerged as the top recruiters with 11 offers.

Nearly 50 firms, including ABG, Adani, Bajaj, CK Birla, JSW Group, Piramal, Reliance, and TAS, participated in the second cluster. Over 35 companies participated in the third cluster.

The firms that took part in cluster 3 consisted of eleven cohorts, Banking and Financial Services and Insurance, Consumer Technology, Core Manufacturing & Gaming & Sports, IT Consulting & Analytics, Renewable Energy and Green Tech and Social Enterprises & NGO.

Fin IQ who participated from the financial sector rolled out 5 offers. The consumer tech cohort comprised firms like Just dial, Uber, Audify, and Zomato amongst others.

Adobe and Atlassian Corporation were the highest recruiters in the Enterprise Tech cohort with 4 offers each. Enterprise Tech Consisted of companies like Adobe, Atlassian Corporation, Google and Ikigai Labs among others.

Some of the new recruiters included Nippon steel, nucleus office parks, aliens group, simple, and Suzuki Motor Corporation (International).
