New Delhi:  Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Guwahati registration for PhD program has started and the last date to apply is April 23, 2023 for the academic session 2023-24. Interested Candidates can apply at iiitg.ac.in/.

IIIT Guwahati PhD admission is based on candidates' performance in the admission test followed by a Personal Interview (PI) round. To get admission in a PhD program, candidates should have a master’s degree in the relevant discipline.

IIIT Guwahati PhD Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria 

For admissions to PhD program offered by IIIT Guwahati, a candidate needs to follow certain eligibility norms as follows:

• Candidates must complete their 10+2 from a recognized board of education.
• Candidates must hold a B.Tech/B.E./M.Sc degree in science and engineering stream from a recognized institution with at least 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA.
• Candidates must also hold a M.Tech/M.E. degree in science and engineering relevant stream from a recognized institution with 60% or 6.0 CGPA.

IIIT Guwahati PhD Admission 2023: Selection Criteria 

Interested candidates need to appear for the PhD admission selection process that comprises of three stages:

• Stage 1: The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their academic performance.
• Stage 2: The selection of shortlisted candidates will be done on the basis of their marks obtained in the written test.
• Stage 3: The final admission will be given on the basis of performance of the candidate in a personal interview round conducted by the institute.
