New Delhi: IIIT Delhi M.Tech Admission 2022 has begun for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, iiitd.ac.in by May 6, 2022. 

IIIT Delhi offers a two-year M.Tech program in various specialisations that include Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), and Computational Biology (CB). 

Candidates seeking IIIT Delhi M.Tech Admission 2022 can submit their applications till May 6, 2022. The institute conducts an entrance exam for admission to the M.Tech courses, which has been scheduled to be held on May 15, 2022.

IIIT Delhi M.Tech Admission 2022: Highlights 

Candidates seeking admissions into the M.Tech courses at IIIT Delhi must note that the M.Tech eligibility criteria is different depending on whether the candidate is applying for CSE, ECE or CB programmes. 

Thus, candidates must check if they meet the requisite eligibility criteria before applying for the M.Tech courses. Non-GATE candidates seeking admission to the M.Tech program will have to sit for an entrance exam conducted by the institute. 

IIIT Delhi M.Tech Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech in CSE & ECE:

• Non-GATE candidates with B.Tech/BE or MCA/M.Sc in Computer Science and IT with 65% (for SC/ST/PWD/OBC/CW 60%) are eligible to apply.
• Candidates with a B.E/B.Tech degree and who qualified GATE will have high preference for M.Tech admissions. 

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech in CB:

• Candidates must have a valid score in GATE along with a B.Tech/ BE in CS/IT/Maths and Computing, MCA, M.Sc, B.Pharm, and MBBS 
• Non-GATE candidates with the above-mentioned degrees are also eligible to apply. 
• Candidates in their final year of degree will also be considered for admission into M.Tech. 

IIIT Delhi M.Tech Admission 2022: Selection Process

• All the shortlisted candidates will be able to appear in the written entrance test and personal interview. 
• Candidates listed in the merit list will be eligible for M.Tech Admission 2022.
• After successful completion of the interview process, seat allotment will be made. 
• The institute will also publish programme-specific merit lists based on the result of the test and previous academic records. 
• Admissions will open to GATE and non-GATE candidates, but GATE-qualified candidates will be given preference during admission.

• Visit the official application portal of IIIT Delhi at iiitd.ac.in
• Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.
• Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.
• Pay the application fee of INR 500 online and submit the Application form. 
• Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
