IIIT Delhi Certificate Program 2021: Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT Delhi) has launched a certificate program in the computer science domain to improve the teaching ability of the faculty members.
The certificate program of Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi is specially designed for computer science discipline faculty members. The program is available for both engineering (BTech/BE) and non-engineering (BSc/BCA/MCA) background applicants.

With the release of a certificate program, IIIT Delhi aims to improve the computer science education of the institute. The program covers the key concepts of the computer science domain as well as the practical applications of concepts used in industry.
To encourage and support the IIIT Delhi Faculty Members for the certificate program in computer science, the collaborative partner ACM India has decided to offer partial support to the program by sponsoring the faculty for the program.
The IIIT Delhi Certificate Program 2021 will include online classes which will have modules during a regular semester. The sessions of the program will be held once a week, and applicants will be given weekly practice work.
The cost of each module will be around Rs 10,000 plus GST, which will cover all lectures as well as resources. After completion of the certificate program, the faculty members who meet the attendance criteria will be offered with a course completion certificate.
Referring to the initiative, IIIT Delhi said, the CS subject of the institute is in demand of substantial changes in order to stay up to date with the latest trends. The students need to be more familiar with the rapidly growing topics such as machine learning, AI, cloud computing, etc.

While offering courses and programs in the computer science field, many colleges and universities face difficulty in updating their existing course curriculum and teaching methods. To prevent this, IIIT Delhi has introduced a CS program, especially for the faculty members.
Prof. Ranjan Bose, Director IIIT-Delhi said, “This program is beneficial for everyone. It will Improve teaching efficacy of the faculty – benefits the students; contributes towards professional development for the faculty members – benefits the faculty; boosts the standing of the associated educational institutions – a benefit to the institution”.
While talking about the application process, Prof. Pankaj Jalote said, IIIT Delhi will soon release the official notification regarding the certificate program along with application procedure and scholarship details on the official website of CSEDU.
