IIIT Delhi Admissions 2021 Open for Overseas Students With Campus Stay and 100% Scholarships; Check Details Here

Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIITD) has opened admissions for international students. The Foreign students will be allowed to stay on campus with up to 100 per cent scholarships for B.Tech, M.Tech, and PhD courses. Out of the 150 international students, IIIT Delhi provides accommodation to 110 students on its campus. The housing capacity will be increased to 200 international students soon. Currently, the Institute conducts online classes for the students. 

“We understand that international students may have difficulty joining online because they are in a different time zone. So, in such cases, they are to be allowed in our hostels on campus,” stated Dr. Anuj Grover, Faculty in-charge, International affairs of IIIT Delhi.

He also informed that after visiting the hostels, students will be quarantined for 10 days at the campus with access to all facilities and internet connectivity but permission will not be provided to move outside the campus facilities. 

After 10 days, students can access all the facilities including the sports facility and other infrastructure. Students are advised to follow all the safety protocols issued by the government to restrict the spread of the coronavirus.

IIIT Delhi had launched a 100% fellowship program in 2020-2021 academic session which will be continued this year too. The overseas students will be eligible for the fellowship program as long as they fulfil all the eligibility criteria of merits and achievements. 

Depending upon the previous academic merit of the candidates, the fellowship will be offered with waivers of 100%, 50%, and 25%. The fellowship will be awarded for 1 year initially to international students and will be renewed after ranking their performance for every semester.

The application process for M.Tech and B.Tech courses at IIIT Delhi will be opened till January 22, 2021. The last date for the candidates to submit their score is January 31, 2021, and the last date for fee payment will be March 15, 2021. PhD candidates can enrol anytime.
