IIIT Allahabad PhD Admission 2023-24 Open; Last Date to Apply is November 24

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Allahabad is inviting applications for admission to its PhD programme for the academic session 2023-24. Interested candidates can apply online till November 24, 2022.

IIIT Allahabad offers full-time and part-time PhD courses in science, Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, and Commerce. Interested students can apply at their official portal iiita.ac.in.

To apply for IIIT Allahabad Admission 2023, the applicant must have a Postgraduate degree with a minimum of 65% score or a BTech degree with an 8.5 CGPA or equivalent. Per norms, a 5% relaxation is offered to the SC/ST candidates.

The BTech/ MTech/ BPharm/ MPharm Degree Backgrounds must have a GATE Score/ GRE Score not more than four years old or UGC/ CSIR NET or JRF not more than 2 years old. 

Candidates with MSc/ MCA Background must have a GATE score of not more than four-year-old or UGC/ CSIR NET or JRF/ INSPIRE. Individuals with MBA / MCom degrees should be CAT Qualified OR must have a valid GMAT Score or should have cleared a UGC / CSIR NET or JRF.

The candidates shall be selected based on marks scored in the written entrance examination and the interview round. External fellowship candidates having a CGPA of more than 8.0 from IITs/ IIITs/ IISERs/ or any institutions of National importance will be directly called for the interview round.

Working professionals applying for part-time PhD programmes must have a minimum of 2 years of working experience in the individuals' current organisation.
