New Delhi: IIHM Institute of Patisserie and Culinary (IIPC), a pastry school has been launched by the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM). The institute is to offer courses on chocolate making and patisserie to the interested candidates.

IIPC Chocolate Hotel, Bangalore: Key Aspects
IIPC will first introduce their chocolate hotel at Bangalore. The hotel will include a chocolate cafe and buffet with the best international chocolate brands coming and displaying their chocolates. Clients can see, taste and of course buy several items from the exhibitions.
“This is a unique and innovative idea of starting a chocolate hotel. This will be the first of its kind and people will experience chocolate in so many forms like never before. At IIPC, people interested in learning the art of chocolate-making will find a lot of inspiration for making various kinds of chocolates and pastries,”, Ghosh who has also remained a corporate pastry chef of Leela Palaces Hotels and Resorts, has stated.

Those who are interested in the art of chocolate making can visit the IIPC hotel, stay for a week and learn the art. It is a residential programme and open to all those who want to muster the art.
“This is going to be the first chocolate hotel in India where everything will be themed on chocolate. Everyone loves chocolate and it is a way of expressing a lot of emotions for most people. I think this new concept will provide a unique opportunity to taste and experience chocolate in various forms”, as stated by Suborno Bose, the Chairman and Chief Mentor of IIHM.
The hotel rooms will also be themed on chocolate. This is the very first attempt in India to promote culinary tourism.
