IGNOU Launches MA Programme in Corporate Social Responsibility; Apply till January 31

New Delhi: IGNOU has launched a Master of Arts programme in Corporate Social Responsibility (MACSR). The university has planned to offer the MACSR programme in both January and July sessions. Candidates can visit the official IGNOU website @ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in and apply online till January 31, 2021. 

The MACSR programme of IGNOU is suitable for the CSR professionals across India and for graduates / post-graduates, those who are interested in pursuing a career as a CSR Professional.

Employees of companies undertaking CSR professionals working in the development sector and NGOs implementing CSR activities and faculty, researchers and students in universities, research organisations and college graduates intending to pursue a career in CSR can apply to the MACSR. 

IGNOU's MACSR Programme 2022: Course Details 

IGNOU has designed the two-year MA degree programme in such a manner to enhance the holistic understanding of CSR by covering different aspects like CSR fundamentals, CSR process and its linkages with development, corporate ethics, governance and conflict resolution, and implementation and handling of projects and programmes. 

Participants will also get first-hand experience of CSR projects by opting for project work during the duration of the MACSR programme. 

The aim of the MACSR programme is to impart knowledge and understanding about CSR through open and distance learning. 

The MACSR programme is a two-year course with an admission validity of up to four years. The medium of instruction will be English. Candidates with a bachelor's degree in any subject are eligible to apply. 

IGNOU's MACSR Programme 2022: Course Fees 

For admission to IGNOU's MACSR Programme, candidates must pay INR 14,400 as a program fee for the entire course duration. They're also eligible to pay the course fees in two instalments at INR 7,200 per year.

IGNOU Launches MA Programmes

Earlier this week, IGNOU inaugurated an online MA in Journalism and Mass Communication (MAJMC) programme, which will be open to worldwide students and will begin in the January 2022 admission cycle. Another online PG program in Environmental and Occupational Health was also launched by IGNOU under the School of Interdisciplinary and Transdisciplinary Studies of IGNOU.
