New Delhi: IGNOU admission 2022 is open for three newly introduced online certificate, postgraduate diploma, and master's degree programmes. IGNOU's Discipline of Rural Development, School of Continuing Education, has launched these new programmes.
Interested candidates can apply for these courses on the official website of IGNOU, ignouiop.samarth.edu.in, 10th February 2022 without paying any late fee.
An official statement from IGNOU about the course said, “The programme is primarily meant for those learners who, because of the limitations of time and resources, are unable to take up Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development but are still interested to have a comprehensive orientation in rural development within a short period of time”.
IGNOU Admission 2022: How to Apply for Online Courses in Rural Development?
To apply for the newly launched Rural Development Courses, candidates must follow the below steps:
Step 1: Visit the the official website, ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.
Step 2: Click the NEW REGISTRATION button, which appears on the applicant login area, and fill out the essential registration information.
Step 3: After entering the required information, click the "SUBMIT" button.
Step 4: Your username will be provided to you immediately by e-mail and SMS.
Step 5: If you have already registered, or if you are an existing user, click the "LOGIN" button.
Step 6: Before filling out the form online, the applicant must have a scanned photograph, signature, copy of age proof, copy of relevant educational qualification, copy of experience certificate, copy of category certificate, and copy of BPL certificate (if below poverty line).
Step 7: The fees can be paid via debit card, credit card or net banking.
Step 8: When you click the next button after uploading the document, you will see the Form preview option. Save or print your form for further use.
IGNOU Online Programmes in Rural Development 2022: Brief Overview
Certificate of Rural Development (CRDOL), Master of Arts Rural Development (MARDOL), and Post Graduate Diploma Rural Development are the new online programmes being introduced (PGDRDOL).
The Certificate of Rural Development was developed with the intent of giving a thorough understanding of socioeconomic variables influencing rural social development. This course is open to anyone having a bachelor's degree in any field from a recognised university.
This programme duration is of six months, and the course fee is Rs. 1,800 for the complete programme along with a registration fee of Rs. 200.
The curriculum for the M.A. degree in Rural Development is designed to offer a wide range of academic topics that are important to the success of this discipline in the Indian scenario. The dissertation, which is focused on empirical study in rural regions, is an integral component of this degree.
This course is open to anyone having a bachelor's degree in any field from a recognised university. The course duration is two years and the course fee is Rs. 5900 per year plus Rs. 200 as a registration fee.
“The programme will be useful to personnel working in various Government Departments/agencies, NGO’s, cooperative sectors and other institutes engaged in rural transformation. It will also be beneficial for fresh graduates interested in pursuing a career in the discipline of rural development,” further stated the IGNOU statement.
The PG Diploma in Rural Development programme gives an in-depth study of the socioeconomic elements influencing rural social change. The courses are intended to provide learners with a comprehensive grasp of the critical aspects of rural development.
This course is open to anyone having a bachelor's degree in any field from a recognised university. The duration of this programme is one year, with a course fee of Rs. 2,400 for the complete programme along with a registration fee of Rs. 200.
