Hindustan University UG Admission 2023 Through HITCAT: The Last Date to Apply is May 14, 2023

New Delhi: Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS) in Chennai has begun the application process for undergraduate for the academic session 2023-24. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @https://hindustanuniv.ac.in/. 

Hindustan University offers various UG courses in the fields of Engineering, Management, Science, Arts, and Commerce. Candidates seeking admission to the UG programmes can submit their applications till May 14, 2023. 

The HIT Admission 2023 to the UG courses will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the Entrance Exam conducted by HITS, merits and other National level exams.

The university offers postgraduate courses for six different courses namely, M.Tech, M.Arch, MA, MBA, M.Li.Sc, and MCA. All PG courses are of two years each. 

HIT UG & PG Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the HIT UG courses will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria. 

UG Courses: 

• Admissions to UG and Integrated courses are done on the basis of marks acquired by a candidate in 10+2 or equivalent (in the relevant field) and required Entrance exam.

B.Tech

• Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% in their 10+2 with Mathematics as one of the subjects. 
• Or, should have passed a 3-year diploma (10+3) with 50% aggregate marks including Mathematics as a subject or equivalent recognized by the Central/ State Government. 

HIT UG Admission 2023: Selection Process

UG Courses:

• Admissions to all the UG courses are direct based on merit and subject to availability of seats. 
• Candidates are requested to register as soon as possible after admission notification to confirm their seats. 

B.Tech:

• Candidates need to appear for an Entrance exam called the HITSEEE. 
• Final selection will be done on the basis of marks scored in the entrance as well as 10+2 merit. 
• Candidates seeking admission to this course must qualify for the NATA and HITSEEE to fulfill the required eligibility.

HIT UG Admission 2023: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of HIT @https://hindustanuniv.ac.in/. 

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
