New Delhi: Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana (GNDEC) conducted the placement drive for last year students on campus ground in the first week of January 2022. During the placement round, over 450 final year engineering students received job offers from top multinational companies.
As per the official statement released by Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana on Wednesday, January 05, the 450 engineering students from their final year batch were hired for permanent jobs and internships by top recruiters.
Referring to the placement drive, Placement Officer Professor G.S. Sodhi said, “All the internships are eventually converted to the placement in the same company. The companies have one full semester to convert these interns into trained professionals".
He further added that various companies that hired students will start their internships in January 2022. The placement drive of session 2021-22 has recorded a significantly higher number of job offers received.
