Gauhati University (GU), Guwahati is a government university offering distance education and regular courses to its students. 

The university has released the admit card for the entrance examination (GUB.EdCET) conducted by Gauhati University for admission to the B.ed course. Earlier, the admit card was supposed to be released on November 17. The entrance examination is going to be held on Nov 29.
