GATE COAP 2020 Round 1 Seat Allotment Released

Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, has released the round one seat allotment results of the Common Offer Acceptance Portal. 

Candidates who have registered can visit the official website of IIT Madras or coap.iitm.ac.in  to check the status for the seat allotment process As per the dates provided, the last date to confirm their decision regarding the allotment is today June 11, 2020.

As per the guidelines provided, every candidate has three options in each of the upcoming seat allotment rounds. 

Candidates who are satisfied with their allotment can select the 'Accept and Freeze' option, while the candidates who have partially accepted the offer but wish to wait for the next round can select the 'Retain and Wait' option. 

The final option is 'Reject and Wait' where the candidate is not at all satisfied with the allotment and wishes to upgrade to the next round. 

Furthermore, the second round of allotment will be released on June 17, 2020, and IIT Mandi will be participating from round 2 onwards.

Candidates who are allotted seats in the next round are required to confirm their choice by June 18, 2020. There will be a total of five rounds of allotment along with an additional four rounds - A, B, C, and D.

Candidates accepting the allotted seat in a particular round are required to visit the official website COAP and complete the document verification process through the login link provided.
