New Delhi: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 results have been released by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. The results can be seen on IIT Kanpur's official website, GATE 2023, at gate.iitk.ac.in.
The test was given over the course of eight sessions on February 4, 5, 11, and 12, 2023. Around 5.17 lakh out of the 6.70 lakh applicants who enrolled to take the test actually showed up for the GATE 2023 exam. Just over 1 lakh of the candidates who showed up for the exam passed it, the total passing percentage remains 18%.
About 500 centers across the nation hosted the GATE 2023 entrance exam, with an overall participation rate of 77%. The test was given in 29 disciplines, and for some of those courses, students could choose between two papers. The highest qualified percentage this year is 25%, which was registered in the paper on metallurgical engineering.
Instead of March 21, 2023, the score cards will be available on March 22, 2023, and students will be free to obtain their results via portal through May 31, 2023.

Aspirants can follow the stepwise guide to check their GATE 2023 result:
Step 1: Visit the official website of GATE 2023 at gate.iitk.ac.in.
Step 2: Go to the results page and click on the ‘GATE 2023 Result’ link.
Step 3: GOAPS portal for GATE 2023 would appear.
Step 4: Fill in the login details on the application portal.
Step 5: Click on the ‘Submit’ tab.
Step 6: GOAPS candidate dashboard for GATE 2023 would open.
Step 7: Click on the ‘Results’ section.
Step 8: Your GATE 2023 Result will be displayed on the screen.
