West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT) has announced admission notification for Post-B.Sc Integrated Ph.D Course in Molecular Biology, Post-B.Sc Integrated Ph.D Course in Genetics and Post-B.Sc Integrated Ph.D Course in Microbiology conducted at Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, for the academic session 2015-16.

Eligibility Criteria for Integrated Ph.D. 2015 Admission in WBUT:
- Candidate should have done B.Sc with honors in Zoology/ Botany/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry and Life Sciences with 55% marks
- Those candidate who have appeared and awaiting results for final year examination also apply if selected, they will be admitted provisionally subject to submission of their final mark sheet by the cut-off date to be notified later by the university, failing which the provisional admission will stand cancelled
Application Procedure for Integrated Ph.D. 2015 Admission in WBUT:
- Application form can be downloaded through the official website www.wbut.ac.in
- Complete Application form should be submitted to the university (drop box in front of the Security Front Desk) along with the following documents in a closed envelope addressed to the Head of the Department, Department of Biotechnology, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, formerly known as "West Bengal University of Technology, BF-142, Salt Lake, Kolkata — 700064" and superscribed in bold letters as "Application for Integrated Ph.D. course".
- Examination Fees — Rs. 600/- & Relaxation of Rs.300/- for SC/ ST/ PH/OBC candidates payable in the form of Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of "West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata, payable at Kolkata" (N.B. Candidates should write their name in block letters on the reverse of the draft). Please submit only ONE DEMAND DRAFT for all courses mentioning the candidates name in BLOCK letters on the reverse side of the draft
Note:
- Those candidate qualifying the National Eligibility Test (NET) Exam they all are eligible to continue the Integrated Ph.D. programme
- Non-NET candidates will have to qualify the mandatory Interview for necessary enrolment to Ph.D program as per the rules laid down by the Ph.D. Committee.
