FTII Pune Online Course in Visual Storytelling Registration Started @ftii.ac.in, Apply by Sept 20; Check Details


Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, has announced an online course, Basic Course in Visual Storytelling (through photographs & texts and Audio – Video) under its Centre For Open Learning (CFO).

FTII Pune has notified that the Basic Course in Visual Storytelling will commence from October 25 to 29, 2021. The online classes will be conducted for a duration of four hours per day, i.e, 10.30 am to 12.30 pm in the morning shift and 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm in the evening shift. 

Students should have passed SSC and they should be 16 years of age or above as on October 1, 2021, in order to participate in the online course. Meanwhile, all the interested students can apply online for the online classes till September 20, 2021 as per the FTII, Pune notification. 

The main objective of conducting the online course in visual storytelling workshop is to reignite and remind the students of their natural ability of storytelling. The main theme of the workshop will be imagination and the students will practice this art through photography, film making and writing. With the help of short exercises, the students will be exposed to the process of articulation of thought through these mediums.

The list of selected students will be published on FTII website and the selection email will be sent to the selected students on their registered email id. FTII, Pune will communicate all the details regarding the courses with the selected students via email. 

At the end of the course, all the students would be awarded the participation e-certificates. Students should note that the minimum 90% attendance is mandatory to receive the participation certificates.

Step 1. Click open the link here 

Step 2: On the page, go through the “Terms Used”, then tick/ click on the ‘check box’ and further click on “Proceed”

Step 3: Now, select All India in the State of Corporate / Institution, then select Educational Institutions in Type of Corporate/ Institution and click Go.

Step 4: Search/Find FTII Fees Account in Educational institutions name and click submit.

Step 5: In the payment category select “B4 Basic Visual Storytelling Course (Online)” and Fill-up the application form with all the necessary details and proceed for payment.

Step 6: Make necessary payment of INR 3,900/- OR INR 11,700/- as required and once after payment is completed, please note "SBcollect Reference Number" (mentioned in payment confirmation receipt),which may be required for future reference.

Step 7: Now, save the receipt of payment or take a printout of the it for future reference 

It is mentioned that FTII authorities do not require any documents / certificates related to educational qualification, age etc. Only the Participants’ self – declaration in the application form is sufficient to register for the online course.

FTII has notified the course fee for Indian nationals is INR 3,900/- (base fee = Rs 3,305/- and GST = Rs 595/-) and for the international students such as NRI, OCI etc. and also those Indian Nationals who are presently staying outside India, the course fee is INR 11,700/- (base fee = Rs 9,915/-/- and GST = Rs 1,785/-).
