FTII JET 2020: Shortlisted Candidates’ List Released for Online Audition, Interview


On October 9, 2020, the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune published the complete list of shortlisted candidates for the audition and interview round. On the official website (ftii.ac.in), the list was published.

Earlier, the Institute declared the results of the FTII JET 2020 in online mode on 31 August 2020. The FTII JET will be held on 15 and 16 February 2020.

However, the outcome of the exam was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown imposed by the Government of India.

For programmes offered both in the Film and Television Wing, FTII Result 2020 was released online.

The merit list includes the roll numbers of the successful candidates selected for the online mode interview or audition round that is likely to take place.

Students have to upload the required documents online on or before September 30, 2020, in order to get an interview letter from FTII.

FTII Admission 2020: How to Check Shortlisted Candidate List?

To check the merit list, candidates have to follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the official FTII (ftii.ac.in) website.
Step 2: A new page will appear on the screen when you click on the link mentioned above. Click either Film or Television on the chosen wing, i.e.
Step 3: The PDF containing the list of shortlisted candidates will appear on the screen after selecting the wing.
Step 4: Check the list with your roll number.
Step 5: Download the list of merits and print it out and keep it secure for future references.

FTII Admission 2020: What Next?

The final list of shortlisted candidates will be published by FTII after the conclusion of the interview or audition round and admission will be offered afterwards.

After the final merit list has been published, students must visit FTII personally and submit their original documents and pay the admission fees required to reserve their place of residence at the institute.
