FT Executive Education Ranking 2022: IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore Among Top 50 Institutes


New Delhi: The leading IIMs of India- IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore have secured their positions in the list of top 50 B-Schools across the world in the latest Financial Times Executive Education Ranking 2022.

The FT Executive Education Ranking 2022 has been released for the top 50 B-Schools around the world. The rankings are based on six parameters for open programs, such as faculty expertise, career progression, program assessment, diversity assessment, etc. 

As per the rank released, the Indian Institute of Management, IIM Ahmedabad has been placed at 39th rank, followed by the Indian Institute of Management, IIM Bangalore at 45th position. 

Referring to this achievement, IIM Bangalore's Chief Program Officer for Executive Education Programs, Madan Mohan Raj said, "IIMB was already well established in the digital learning space with over 50 massive open online courses (MOOCs) on offer".

"Our strength in digital learning helps us reach a large audience in India and abroad. We offer new programs, in blended and hybrid modes," he further added. 

FT Executive Education Ranking 2022: Top Indian Institute

Following the data shared by Financial Times, the HEC Paris has topped in the custom, open and combined rankings. This is the first time that an institute has topped all the three rank lists in the same session. 

As for the open rank category, IIM Ahmedabad has improved its position and stood at 47th rank, while IIM Bangalore has been placed at 60th position. Check the key highlights and top rankings of Indian Institutes in FT Executive Education Ranking 2022 mentioned in the table below:

In the custom rank category under FT Executive Education 2022, EMLyon Business School which has campuses in France, China, Morocco, and India is placed in 16th place. While IIM Ahmedabad has achieved 50th rank and IIM Bangalore stood at 43rd position. 

Referring to the ranking released, the official website of FT informed that Spain’s Iese institute has come out as the second top institute in the world with the most diverse teaching staff. The data represented the diversity of faculty members for its executive programs in the past year. 

Talking about top institutes in Asia, there are six schools on the list from this region, including Ceibs in Shanghai, which has made it among the top 50 institutes in the world. The rankings have been published on the official website of Financial Times at www.ft.com.
