Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi has received a clean 100% summer internship for its students. Unperturbed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the institute recorded more prominent organisations to the recruiters’ list.
FMS Delhi has successfully concluded summer placements for the 2020-22 batch, with the highest ever average stipend spiking to INR 2.4 lakhs for two months, projecting 5% increase since the past year.

About 183 students which amounts to 64% of the batch have been extended stipends more than 2 lakhs. In a statement issued by the institute, the median package also rose to INR 2.2 lakhs which is 10% more than that of 2019.

Despite the pandemic, new recruiters were also added to the list this year. This includes big names as Gartner, Sony Pictures Network, CRISIL, Standard Chartered, Bajaj Auto, United Breweries, Unacademy, Lubrizol, DE Shaw and Yes Bank.
42% of the batch accepted offers in Sales and Marketing, and top recruiters included Asian Paints, Coca-Cola, Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), ITC, Johnson and Johnson, L’Oréal, Mondelez, Reckitt Benckiser, Samsung, Tata Sky, and United Breweries.
Apart from them, the legacy recruiters in different sectors of Industrial Goods, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Retail, Ecommerce, FMCG, S&M and Consumer Electronics.
FMS also recorded a 43% increase in e-Commerce/IT/Operations roles. In 2019, students received 67 offers extended by Amazon, Adobe, Byju’s, Cloudtail, Flipkart, Google, Infoedge, Microsoft, Optum, Purplle, and Udaan. There was a 34% increase in the number of offers in E-Commerce.

Additionally, about 18% students were placed in Consulting and General Management domains, while 12% received Finance roles. The organisations that took part in the campus placement are namely, Boston Consulting Group, Gartner, HSBC, Axis Bank, Bank of America, Capgemini, JSW, Kearney, Mastercard, RPG, Spark Capital, Accenture Strategy, and Tata Administrative Services amongst others.
