FMS Delhi MBA Admission 2022: PI Round from April 18

New Delhi: Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) Delhi is all set to conduct its physical Personal Interview (PI) round from April 18 to 23, 2022. 

The personal interview process will be held for a total of 1980 shortlisted candidates for the MBA admission 2022 at FMS Delhi and the final selection list of the candidates will be released on April 23, 2022. 

Considering its inexpensive fee structure and high placement records, FMS Delhi is one of the top favourite institutes of high scoring CAT test takers. 

Every year, the management school records an amazing number of 25,000 students applying for fewer than 300 MBA seats. 

With many changes made in the FMS Delhi MBA Admission 2022 process, the institute has shortlisted candidates by awarding varying weightage to the CAT 2021 sectional scores. 

The institute will declare the final merit list for MBA admission 2022 on the last day of the PI round. FMS, Delhi is conducting the admission to the MBA (Full-Time), MBA Executive and MBA Executive (Health Care Administration) courses. 

FMS Delhi Admissions 2022: PI Dates and Time Slots 

The institute has issued the schedule for Physical Mode Personal Interview (PI) round for MBA admissions 2022.

All the shortlisted candidates are required to attend the personal interviews at the following address. 

The final selection result of the candidates will be released by FMS on April 23, 2022 for all its MBA seats. All the selected candidates will have to accept their admission offer by paying the requisite admission fee within the deadline. 

FMS Delhi Admissions 2022: Candidate's Shortlists 

The institute has shortlisted the candidates upto 10 times of the approved intake. This year, a total of 1966 candidates have been shortlisted in category-wise for the PI round. 

Since a few candidates were at par with other shortlisted candidates, the shortlist has gone up to 1980 candidates. The shortlisting criteria for the final selection round aims to encourage diversity of Gender and Academic Disciplines. 

The institute has assigned different weightage to the scores of different sections of CAT 2021, for the purpose of shortlisting candidates for the Personal Interview Process.

FMS Delhi Admissions 2022: Shortlisting Criteria

On the basis of sectional and overall CAT score, gender diversity and the following criteria, the institute will shortlist the candidates. 

• 100% weight to CAT 2021 score is awarded for the shortlisting of final selection round in FMS Admission criteria. 
• In the shortlisting criteria, the candidate is awarded weightage to sectional percentile scores in CAT 2021.
  • Score in the Quantitative Ability (QA) section is awarded 30% weight. 
  • The Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR) section carries a weight of 30%.
  •  The Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) section carries the highest weightage of 40%.
• An additional 5 marks is added to the composite score so computed in case of female candidates for shortlisting.
• The composite score is used only for shortlisting the candidates for the Interview Process.

All the shortlisted candidates for final selection round have to attend the personal PI round conducted between April 18 and 23, 2022, failure to which they will not be considered for the final admission.
